"This hotel has a three star rating, but I would put it closer to a four. It has a large room and bathroom but does not have a mini bar or safe. The gym is also large and well equipped. The breakfast choice is very good and I would think you could have a full room service. Free shuttle to and from the airport. La località è bella, gli abitanti sono molto gentili e autentici. Il personale dell albergo si è prodigato per farci sentire a nostro agio. Buoni e genuini i piatti del ristorante. Unica nota negativa: è molto lontano da aereoporti, stazioni ferroviarie e moli. "The resort was beautiful and very comfortable. We loved its seclusion and the location on the cliff, surrounded by the sound of the waves. The food was good but quite expensive. The staff in the restaurant was unexperienced and systematically forgot to charge something and had to run after us for additional signature. The front desk was also very casual. While we made it clear we wanted to go on a tour to see the pink dolphins, we were told the wheather was a bit unbstable but they would let us know if it was possible. The next morning we realized that a tour was leaving and we had not been told. The staff at the spa was also a bit unexperienced. The pedicure was very superficial but took more than one hour! The color was not even set very well! We rented a scouter for 250 baths which was very good. However, the taxi to the airport costed a fortune. Also, we were told it was 50 min drive when it took more than an hour. We were hapy we left 15 min earlier that what the front desk had planned because we had just enough time to get our plane, which was a bit stressful. Despite these negative notes, we enjoyed the place and would have loved to spend a few more days there. "A lovely little resort with a lovely garden and very good food. Anna and Staffan was very nice and took good care of oss. The only disadvantage of Ekman was that the resort was not located so near the beach. "The hotel staff really nice. Poor cleaning of the bungalow on the places that are not visible. Hardly anything close, you need to book a taxi service, rent a car or motorcycle to go anywhere.If you want peace and quiet then this is the right place. Reservation of sunbeds at the pool was annoying. "Excellent hotel, was much better than expected. Impressive reception and sitting areas. Should be a 4* hotel, it s good value. Nice clean friendly room and staff, speaking good English. One of the best restaurants I ve been too. All the Thai food is cooked in an excellent Thai style, not the usual tourist style. Lovely breakfast buffet too. Live music played inside and another outside for a great atmosphere.
